The domestic bullion market in Nepal witnessed a cooling period this Tuesday as the prices of both gold and silver took a downward turn. Investors and jewelry enthusiasts noted a decrease in the price of gold, which fell by 900 rupees per tola in a single day. According to the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is currently being traded at 300,100 rupees per tola, down from Monday’s rate of 301,000 rupees.

Silver prices followed a similar trajectory, although the decline was more gradual. The price for a tola of silver has been fixed at 4,600 rupees for Tuesday, marking a 20-rupee drop from the 4,620 rupees recorded the previous day. These fluctuations in the local market often mirror global economic shifts and changes in domestic demand. Market observers continue to monitor these price movements closely as the trading week unfolds.
