The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has issued a formal directive requiring all educational consultancies to register or re-register under the newly implemented guidelines. This move aims to streamline the sector and ensure that all agencies providing study-abroad services operate within a transparent legal framework. Consultancies have been given a strict 35-day window to complete this process and align their operations with the government’s updated standards.

According to the new manual, existing consultancies that were operating under previous arrangements must now update their status to comply with the revised criteria. This regulatory push is designed to protect students from potential fraudulent practices and ensure that the counseling provided by these agencies is both accurate and reliable. The government has emphasized that this registration process is mandatory for all entities offering educational counseling, test preparation, and language classes.

Failure to adhere to the 35-day deadline could result in legal consequences or the suspension of business operations. By bringing all consultancies under a unified regulatory system, the ministry hopes to enhance the quality of services and maintain a high level of accountability in the international education sector. Owners and operators are encouraged to submit their documentation promptly to the relevant authorities to avoid any disruptions to their business activities.
